Chris Killourhy has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer of QBE Insurance Group, subject to regulatory approvals.
In his new role, Killourhy will lead QBE’s global financial strategy, capital management and investor relations.
Killourhy brings a unique blend of technical excellence, strategic insight and collaborative leadership to his new role, the firm stated.
He has been with QBE since 2015, holding several senior roles across the company’s global operations, and most recently served as Managing Director of QBE Re, the Group’s reinsurance arm.
Before joining QBE, Killourhy also served as Head of Internal Models at the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), and as Chief Actuary for Tokio Marine Europe before that.
